Default •Steak and bones

Felt like treating myself the other night so I figured I do up a steak for dinner. Took it out the freezer, trimmed it up and seasoned it while the grill heated up.

Seasoned it up with my house rub

Onto the grill it went. This was a straight direct cook.

Had the bone going too:

Plated it up with bacon potato salad

Cut a piece for the wife and the rest is dinner:

...aaaand the money shot:

Was damn good guys. Was a nice break from all the chaos to chill out with the wife and a nice juicy steak.

Cheers.

I haven't made potato salad with bacon in years. I need to make some. It's not like potato salad is health food without the bacon -- well, at least not GOOD potato salad.

Hey Tish, missed you guys too. been way too busy and a lot has been going on recently so I've kinda been sidetracked. Hopefully I'll be around a bit more.

Cheers
