For those who have installed Guru on to their WSM do you heat tape all intake holes or just the three where you hook up Guru?

I just taped the ones that used the Guru adaptor, and closed the others.

all the cool kids put 3/4" sheet metal plugs in the other vent holes on the one your guru adapter is on.

My iQue hooks up differently -- it covers all 3 holes on one daisy-wheel vent -- but I am getting some leakage on one of the two remaining bottom daisy-wheels. It is a tiny bit bent.
If your other vents leak, seal them. If not, let it ride, IMO. As

i was thinking about drilling a hole in the base of the WSM. Kinda like how they say to install on a kettle. What do you guys think?

One more ditto here. (Ok, so Tapatalk didn't quote your post) I also use the tape and close the other vents. Going to get those plugs though .....
