Default Cedar Paper question

Is the cedar paper sold for lining drawers and shelves suitable for cooking or is something added to it?
It's easier to find and somewhat cheaper than the cedar sheets sold specifically for grilling.

If it's paper then it has all sorts of chemicals used in making it and holding it together, I would not use it.
