I would like some advice on a small BGE I found listed on Craigslist in my area. The unit is approx. 1 year old and they have it listed at $225.00. Comments welcome.

grate diameter is only 13".
before you spend $, determine what size meats you want to cook, what quantity to see if this is going to be ideal for you or not. Likely can get it for $200 or less if you negotiate, but the price means little if the unit will not meet your needs.

Assuming that it doesn't have any major issues, that is a great price for a Small.
It is a bit limited in space but with some creativity you can pack a decent amount of food on it. I use my small more often that my larges. It's perfect for two people (two steaks, some sausages, chicken pieces, etc.) and heats up faster.
I paid $180 for mine including a table, but that we at least 4 years ago. If all of the ceramic pieces are intact I'd offer $175 and settle for $200.
