Cooking Pulled pork for 100 @ -43F with Pron!
Catering for the Ammo Squadron on Eielson AFB, roughly 100 people. And Yep it had to be cold very cold!! -43F but no wind. Here are a few pics for you. Tomorrow I will take a pic of the Charcoal baskets see whats left.
Cook details: 70lbs of pre trimmed buts, 5 per UDS, cooked at 335F for ~10hrs, used Stoker for temp control and alarms. After they rested got to busy to snap photos

At that outdoor temp, thank goodness there was no wind. -43F is cold enough. Reminds me of my days on the flightline at Pease AFB, NH. Never got that cold though. I'm sure those Airmen thoroughly enjoyed your Q. Good stuff.

Two of my best friends (brothers) live in Alaska. They grew up in Barrow. I think -43 is Summer in Barrow.
