Default Applewood Grilled Abalone (updated pron)

Dropped the wife and kids off for a nice long trip to the inlaws on the mainland. Picked up some nice Kona abalones. Grilled em on da toy cobb with some homedepot applewood for 15 minutes. Bachelor dinner Hawaiian style. Awright!

Looks delicious! You may be the first person I have noticed posting here who uses a Cobb grill. I'm really interested in trying one of those out sometime...

Haha tell you da truth da cobb is a little too pretty for my taste (although i don't mind that for cars and wahines). Needed something quick and easy for beach munchies. Da propane price in hawaii is ridiculous, my lil weber smokey joe went to da bbq heaven a while ago and the go anywhere took too many briquets. We usually just use a sawn off half drum with a log or two but i don't always need charred food from a bonfire. Since da little fambly was gone didn't feel like firing up da home rig neither.
