Default Padawan and Phubar's Wildboar Ham Pron

Some of you know we've been cooking up some wildboar the last couple of months.
We had a chance to buy a whole wildboar from a Phriend (hunter) of Padawan's Phriend.

Yesterday we picked up a new one at the hunter's house...he was really a nice guy and gave us a tour in and around his house and also shared some of his hunting stories how they operate.
This man only eats real, real Phresh meat...I envy this man alot!

We walked away with 33kg of wildboar...uncut the boar was 48kg.
Good thing was that the man offered us to get some more if he went hunting again.
We were stoked cause this is some "honest" and very delicious meat here.

Dennessey joined us for our Phriday dinner...he made the dessert.
3 december it was D's Birthday so we bought some Hennessey for Dennessey.

Starter was mussels au gratin with chopped tomatoes.

Main course wildboar ham with haricots verts,potato/parsnip,chestnut puree and cranberry/chocolate sauce.

Dessert papaya, dried cranberries and Greek yoghurt.

There aren't many people I know that hunt.
These wildboars are from Siebengebirge,Germany.
