Nope.. found out it was $2k in airfare for me and my son..... backed out.

Cant believe I missed it... !!! Dave and I been going back and forth with that pit for weeks. he was looking for the mags to have gold plated and was having trouble... same for the plasma TV's... for some reason my brain had it going out in january, even though the airfare was during christmas blackout.. Brain fart.

these were the some of the work in progress pics.

That's a sweet ride! With as much as it probably costs, it should drive by itself!

Nice ! It's almost too pretty to want to cook on...
Not sure if I'm missing something....

Just curious Phil... Did you have input into the design ? Who was it made for ? What are the details on this custom unit ?

I been talking to dave about that pit trying to get him to give it to me since i first saw it during my trip there in May. Attached pic is the pit before it was upgraded.. it was custom built for someone, and the guy who ordered never picked it up. Dave layed claim to it and took it on as a pet project. The pics are from May of this year. they been working on it for months. Had it modified with a load of bells and whistles. As it its over $120K. Hes probably keeping it for himself. Some of the upgrades:
  • SS sinks w/gold Faucets,
  • 23” HD Satellite TV,
  • Satellite Radio,
  • Low profile, high definition, phased array satellite downlink
  • SS Beer Coolers,
  • All infrared wireless bi directional headsets. You can get the radio in the right ear, & TV in the left ear.
  • $2000.00 a gallon Ferrari Metal flake Burgundy Paint job,
  • DVD Player,
  • DVR Recorder that plays 60 full length movies from hard drive,
  • Satellite Receivers & Antenna’s,
  • Solar Panel Rechargers, 750 watt Inverters, & all runs on Batteries without a Generator.
  • Solid SS Meat Racks throughout,
  • Fish Fryer Burners,
  • Sliding Steak Grill,
  • Granite & Wheel Covers with Klose Logo
