Default Les Miles Approved Thanksgiving Leftovers

Les Miles is the head football coach for the LSU Tigers. He was recently asked what his favorite Thanksgiving leftover dish was. He replied that it is a turkey and dressing sandwich with onion and mustard. Well, he is from Michigan after all.

I had never heard of this so had to try it. Served with smoked field peas:

It was very good! Always looking for something new to try with leftovers.

Thanks for Lookin'

How can a turkey sandwich with dressing be anything but awesome?

Never heard of smoked field peas before. Please discuss.

Wish I could take credit Brother but these are the best beans to ever come out of a can:

LuzziAnn found them at the store. Deep smoke flavor and cooked with bacon fat.

I figured Les would approve a dish made from grass.

He's been known to have an impromptu salad on the field now and then.
