ok guys....got a 9# turkey breast. Put in fridge sun morn to thaw.....STILL PARTIALLY frozen.....Can I go ahead and put in brine?? Any quick advice will help....Thanks....

Yes - I've been in a similar situation - if the brine is at room temperature, it will help finish the thaw. Because the brine (probably) has a lot of salt in it, nothing will grow on the meat while it's in the brine. Make sure it's completely covered.

Guys I just gotta tell ya.......with all the horrible stuff happening politically and economically in our country.....went home and put that turkey in a "slurry" of salt, sugar, garlic powder, black pepper rub......and WAHHLAHHH!!!!! ...I FEEL BETTER!!!!!!!!!!!!!
