Default Learning my way around my COS

I thought I'd actually take the time to post something instead of drooling all over myself every time you guys post your pron! My better half got me a nice little COS for my birthday. After I put it together and seasoned it, I realized a couple things: one- if I wanted to have better fire and smoke control over it I had better mod it some, and two- I have a lot to learn about maintaining steady temps in the thing, lol. Here's a little of what I've done so far- high temp silicone around the firebox, lowered the chimney, and added a fireplace gasket around the smoke chamber.

And here's a couple of shots of the stuff I've been making/eating:

Pork Shoulder

Breakfast was oven roasted potatoes topped with pulled pork and further topped with an egg. Thanks for looking!

I used Permatex high-tempered RTV silicone. I found it at autozone.
