Default Building a Mini

One cannot have too many projects or smokers.
While I was working on the Beast this morning, I got distracted with an OLD propane tank I had laying in my scrap iron pile. Probably a 25# in it's day.
It fit in my big bandsaw so I cut the bottom (now the top) off of it. Heated up the old valve with the cutting torch and backed it out (after I cut it in two).
Looking at several options here ...
Any suggestions.

more to come

@ Cowgirl - Much of my inspiration is coming from you and what you've been cooking on your camp grill.

Made some progress on the mini.

Haven't had a chance to cook anything yet. Paint is drying as I type.

I did burn it out a couple of times and it did seem to hold the coals better than I expected.

Built a 'shed' out of angle over the air intake to keep it from plugging.

My little DO fits in there nicely as an option.

Two options for grill height or I can elevate the charcoal basket.

Everything fits together for travel/storage.

A discada and griddle are in the works.

Now if I can just find some miniature hogs.

I really like the idea of this. Might be something to try in the future.
