Default our 1st build of 2 UDS -

Here are a couple pics of our 1st try at building a UDS - Sean (lowki) & I built to compete with next season. Missing the final touches a vent stack & the stoker unit we order to control them.

They have 2 racks with a terracotta pot base for a heat shield.

We have one more drum cleaned we need to build.

caliking - you are right our pig wouldn't pass inspection plus my kids gave the name Brisket. I ran our 1st cook last weekend and - I was amazed how they held temps.

Thanks for all the other UDS post- we learned a lot from this forum before we built them
