Default Cruising to the Bahamas tomorrow

We are heading to Freeport and Nassau tomorrow out of Port Canaveral. A 4 day "long weekend" cruise just because we can! Have no plans and may not even get off the ship. Last trip I picked up jerk seasoning and hot sauce from Jamaica and I'll probably hit some markets for peppa sauce from the Bahamas. Oh, and I'll definitely be looking out for some conch fritters and peas/rice!

Yeah, I stocked up on some Hondurans just in case I don't find something I want to drop $20 or more a stick for!

I'm sure I'll find an interesting bottle of rum, too.

I was going to suggest rum and cigars in Nassau, but that's already been covered.

So...

Rum cake?

Not to be picky, but that is a "water trip", not a "road trip"

You and Anne have a great time--I know she loves the cruises.

We have to drive from Clearwater to Port Canaveral...a grueling 3 hour drive tomorrow - hence "road trip". Our cruise out of Tampa was even worse: 30 minute drive to the port of Tampa!!

I've got cigars, the bar has wine and beer, and I'm not going to be answering support calls for a while. Life is good!

Don't forget to bring a news paper for cover. Just in case.

Guys, after 33 years of marriage to the same woman I'd just as soon sandpaper a tiger's a$$ as wander unaccompanied by the sunbathing area! I do not have a death wish! Besides, a good look at some o' dat and a glass of iced water would probably kill me anyway!

I hope you got yourself a nice man thong to wear for the trip. We're cruising in November and I picked me up one of these fine suits.

I'll bet THAT would turn your head!
