Default Chuckie Chili

This is the result of the first smoke on my new Kamado.

Not sure this step went exactly the way i had envisioned.

The end result was exactly what i expected. Thick and bold flavored.

Oh, and the next night my first Kamado chicken.

Pot Pie.

Looks great. Care to share any more info on ingredients and what you didn't expect in that one step?

That particular step entailed:
3/4 of a lg. onion
4 jalapenos seeded
3 green peppers
4 tomatoes

what i had done, was add about ¼ can of beer and foiled at 170* and cooked until 205*.

the veggies obviously steamed, and it ended up with way to much juice in the bottom of the pan.

i was hoping for more a roasting affect. my dumb oversight in foiling the pan.

Ah. Yeah, that is pretty close to the method for making pepper stout beef. Eventually you have to remove the foil to let the liquid cook off.
