Just bought another kettle off CL...
do i need it? nah. maybe. of course! had to justify buying that $5 hinged grate at Target last week.
It's an OTS 18.5" DR (aught6) $15, virtually no travel. bought it from a retiree who is moving to AZ. meanwhile, the new (gratis) performer kettle from Weber was on the porch when i returned. it's another lovely Weber day.     after a quick hit of the grate w/ the torch and brush:
