Am I missing something here?
Are you supposed to put meat inside the "box" on the spindle???? I used a "rock tumbler" when I was a kiddo. I guess you could put some butts in there and it would cook and pull them all in one operation No problem with chewy skin on poultry--it is all worn off Maybe he is onto something???? NOT! TIM

Looks like they used an old Bell & Howell gear/reducer box for the chain drive. Pretty ingenuitive.
