All of the states that Butcher BBQ won grand champion in have had his bung removed from consideration for the Jack.

I think that is a horrible way to treat those teams that have 7 qualifying GC's and are an "Auto" into the Jack!

Great job by them and the other "auto 7" teams!!!!!!!!!!!!

Well, when you win seven in one season, you no longer need to be in the draw. It is called an automatic. David won his 7th in Liberal, KS this past weekend and that frees up all the states so others may benefit because his "bung" is removed from the state draws.

Congratulations go out to Butcher BBQ. Trust your butcher to do it right!

LOL! You have to admit, it was a hook worthy of many an advertising executive!

David, I don't know if "congratulations" is a big enough word for the weeks of sweat that go into competing against strong fields time after time, and qualifying with seven GCs. It's a landmark achievement. No wonder we'll always trust our Butcher!
