2012 Watermelon Carnival/Pickup Porkers Barbecue Cooking Contest
I recently went to the MBN judging class in West Memphis and I've selected the 2012 Watermelon Carnival in Water Valley, MS as my first MBN event to judge. Are there any MBN judges on here that will be there this weekend?
The event is categorized as a "Backyard Contest," with ribs as the major category, but should technically count towards certification. Any words of wisdom for a judge that is about to cut his teeth on his first competition?
