Default Operation BBQ Relief Needs Your Help Please!

Operation BBQ Relief needs your help! For the last year plus, we've been building Operation BBQ Relief and servicing hot meals to people who have lost everything in natural disasters and the first-responders (police, fire, EMS, National Guard, etc) who are there to serve. We started with in Joplin, feeding more than 120,000 meals in eleven days. In the months that followed, we've fed survivors in several tornadoes, a flood and a wildfire totaling more than 150,000 meals in nine states from Pennsylvania to Colorado. And we're not done! Not by a long stretch! Operation BBQ Relief is a non-profit 501c3 disaster relief organization and as such, we were nominated for two national awards in Stay Classy's 2012 CLASSY Awards! The awards ceremony is a black tie event in San Diego in September. We have made the top five in the Midwest Region in both "Best New Charity" and "Best Disaster Relief & International Aid Charity". To move on to the national awards in San Diego, we have to win the regional competition by a combination of 50% online voting by the public and 50% scoring from past winners of CLASSY Awards. That's where we need your help ASAP! Current vote standings released by Stay Classy has OBR not leading (we don't know where we are but we aren't leading). Voting ends on July 26 and we urgently need you to both vote and spread the word to everyone you know - friends, relatives, co-workers, Facebook friends, etc. - however you can think to get the word out! We have seven days! To vote for OBR, click the link below and then on the map, click the Midwest Region (the one where Missouri is). Scroll down and under both "Best New Charity" and "Best Disaster Relief and International Aid Charity", click "select" under Operation BBQ Relief. If you want, you can go to different regions and vote for others then when done, click the yellow "Submit My Final Ballot" link at the bottom right of the page. Note you either have to sign in using your Facebook credentials or sign up for a Stay Classy account (doesn't cost anything) or your vote won't be counted. So please help Operation BBQ Relief! Winning one or both of these awards would look really good when applying for grants and working with potential sponsors! Thank you so much!
