Default Webber 22.5" OTS to OTG mod?

So my Weber kettle has been flawless thus far, and I've really enjoyed cooking on it and am stunned by the food I can produce on used equipment purchased for <$50. However, I'm still missing the ash tray/pan/bowl and figured if I'm going to replace it, I might as well convert it to a OTG, since I've seen several people list that mod. My google-fu is failing me though - I can't find any how-to threads for the mod anywhere. Does anyone have a write-up on this? Since I don't have a OTG for reference I can't tell if attaching the OTG basket assembly is as straight forward as I hope it is. I'm also having trouble sourcing the OTG basket assembly itself. Any help?

What year is it, I don't know all the details, but I think it has to be new enough to do that. Mine is a '95 and I know I can't just turn it into a OTG without an older style bracket.

any kettle with the one-touch cleaning system can be upgraded to a OTG

older kettles will need to be slightly modified. use a dremel with a heavy duty cut-off wheel to cut a tiny notch in the weld of the leg socket where the ring clips into.
it'll take 5 minutes
