do I have a brine that super absorbs the marinade flavors?

Interesting that you chose a tri-tip to brine. I've never heard of anyone brining beef before. Have you done this successfully?

Did brining the beef turn it into something nasty....Or..was it the combination of the brine and a marinade?

i try to avoid salt in marinades,have never had a good bbq with it
