When seasoning the UDS for the first time, it is recommended all over the place to use Cooking spray. I have a ton of Vegetable Oil. Will I get the same results if I coat the inside with Vegetable Oil, then smoke for 2-3 hours?

Yes, veggie oil is preferred for seasoning, gives a better coat than spray.

Spray is easier and less messy. Rubbed on is best, but potentially very messy.
