See picture enclosed using a conventional slow cooker as a sous-vide. I have a question: is it possible to program Phase 1 to achieve a target temperature at which temperature it will auto-switch to Phase 2. In this way I could guarantee that the cooking in Phase 2 at the set temperature would continue for the set time, regardless of how long it took to achieve that temperature in Phase 1. The reason is that the slow cooker takes a long time to reach temperature. Your device is very good but this would make it even better. Regards Andrew -------------------------------------------------------------------------- Comments by the developer and seller, the woodpelletsmoker: There is NO such problem mentioned above, please do not worry. The thermostat counts time AFTER it reaches to target temperature. You can program PHASE I at 70C for 1 Minute. The slower cooker may take 30 minutes to reach to 70C. the thermostat will keep this 70C for 1 minute and then turn to PHASE II. This way the real time of PHASE I is 31 minutes. |
