We forgot to bring my Smokey Joe Platinum camping with us so we had to stop and buy a Smokey Joe Silver. Excited to build a smoker I can bring camping!

A while back I tried to make a mini WSM out of my platinum. Bought the tamale pot only to realize the platinum is 18" not 14" so I wasn't able to do it. Now I can. :D

yea, i'm addicted to rescuing webers. i love the beat up ones. just got a silver that the legs were crushed but the rest was ok for 7.00 at the second hand store. i now have. three silvers and two golds. also four gas go anywheres and four or five go anywhere charcoal grills. i have one pot made up and have been using and another pot waiting in the wings. so yea, now you got a grill and soon a smoker. multi tasking is so much fun.
