I am looking for a networkable device to monitor my pit and meat temps. I started out with Maverick 732 and while I know most have had great luck with theirs, my experience has not been good. If I am going to upgrade I figure I might as well have network capability as well. Wifi would be nice, but dependability comes first. I can always use a wifi router if I need to. Pros and cons or other suggestions?

I'm a Stoker user and love it. For multiple pits and multiple temp senors don't think a stoker can be touched. The shear expandability is amazing. But I will say if you want it for one pit then you can't beat the Party Q in price and function.

@pwa, do you use a blower on your UDS's?

Yes I do, I can run without it, but gives me piece of mind. I use stoker console which graphs the whole cook and probes, this lets me review each cook/timing ect... at a later date.

I have used a Guru on a WSM for the past 8 years or so and love it. It's simple and effective.
