I need to pick up some pork butts this weekend. I heard that the selection at the KC Restaurant Depot were a little on the small side last month. Does anyone know what the selection has been like more recently?

St. Louis has been "smallish", but so has Sam's as well as my 2 wholesalers. It's tough to find anything over 8#'s. I found a 17.9# 2 pack, but it took some digging.

Thanks for all the info. I will give Bichelmeyers a look. Maybe I'll pig up some calf fries for the one bite wonder contest in Columbia. Give the judges a treat. keith

I was there last week and bought a two pack that weighed 21.8 lbs. and they had many others similar to that size when I was there....

I was just there 15 minutes ago. They had several two-packs that ran in the high 19's and three that were over 20 lbs. Found a couple of briskets with thick (3") ends.
