Logo Questions

We're preparing for some end of the year comps (maybe early next year) and we need a solid logo. I was wondering if anyone could shed some light on what the average logo costs? We have several things to budget and this is one thing I can't get a fix on.

150-200 is what they normally run

You'll see lots of teams on this board have had good luck with http://www.bbqlogos.com/

We went with http://thelogocompany.net/logo-design.htm because, well, we didn't know about the above company. Our logo ran $149, they had us fill out a survey/information form that let's them know what we are looking for. They also alsked for other logos that we liked (Famous Dave's, OBX BBQ) to give them an idea of the style we wanted.
They gave us 6 logos to choose from and we whittled it down, with many edits, to my sig pic.

Again, all that would not be necessary if you go with bbqlogos, since they already play in our little ball park.

I got mine from logonerds.com. I was very happy with it. $109 unlimited edits and all the files you need for printing when done.

Thanks guys. Those figures are actually what I was thinking. I really like Patrick's work. Is he in the same neighborhood? I'd hate to talk prices without first committing to do business, but I'm trying to make sure I get all of my ducks in a row before I pull the trigger.
