Just mix lipton dry onion soup in the burger, along with some Worsey sauce and Jack Stack BBQ seasoning. Form into thinner patties and wrap two patties around a yellow onion slice, seal the edges and grill... simple.

Friend of mine was in this in 2003.

It is very "Californiay"

His entry was this cranberry and blue cheese burger on some foo foo type bread.

He was one of the ten finalists (they just read the recipes and pick the "best" ones, they then prepare them, and whittle down the ones to 10, then fly them to Napa Valley and give each a Weber kettle and their list ingredients.

Yeah - I see a lot of farks out here putting chunks of blue cheese on burgers. I like jap or habanero cheese myself.

I love bleu cheese on burgers. great stuff. Bleu cheese and sauteed mushrooms for when I get tired of the usual swiss and bacon or just plain ketchup.

Was thinking about entering this, then noticed that it is not open to residents of CA. So much for my tofu burger.
