Default St. Joe MO, or Lansing KS contest

Guys, which one would you cook, assuming both had spots?

I have cooked St. Joe's apple blossom contest and did good,, but I know Lansing's brew's, blue's and BBQ brings in alot of cooks too.

I can not remember if st. joe had any "puff" categories, or if lansing does.

We'll be at St Joe, and we have enjoyed it the past three years. I have never been to Lansing.

This will be our 3rd year in St. Joe and this is one we look forward to each year. Never done Lansing so can't give you any info.

Lansing tends to be a little short on CBJs I think....we usually do it because it's a mile from the house. Not this year, doing a triathlon instead. Haven't seen a list of teams, but Munchin' was there last year and Andy is gonna be there this year (Smoke on Wheels).

lansing is great for the kids, tons of blow ups for them to play on, killer fireworks friday nite, a cooks choice (pulled pork) they supply 1 butt, 48 team cap...nice fairly level grass spots, and its only a few miles from us...over all a really well run comp
