Default Transporting the L BGE to a comp

A little scared to take my baby out into the field. We've got a toyota tacoma, it's going to go in the corner of the bed by the cab, internals out and wrapped in blankets, bottom strapped, pads between the base and dome and a heavy strap over the top to prevent bouncing, it's under a 30 mile trip so not too scared. Just looking for any pointers.

Sounds like you are taking the necessary precautions. When I bought mine used, I laid it flat on a bed of pillows in my hatchback. I wrapped each individual part in towels. If I had a truck, I would have done exactly what you are doing.
