Ron, it makes me wonder if they've let their registrations lapse. Maybe "Right On Q" didn't continue in cooking but they're still registered at bbqteamnames.com. If it was something you wanted to use, I'd definitely check with KCBS anyway. There's always a chance they are no longer active.

Or try to track down the folks that have used it in the past to talk to them about it. Might be a little uncomfortable to be cooking next to some of their friends if they felt the name had been swiped.....

OK... I promise i won't bug you guys with this for much longer... One of my daughter's friends is very good at charicatures (or however ou spell that), and she drew a very cute smiling pig face. It started me thinking... How about...

Smiling Pig BBQ

and use her drawing as part of the logo? An example using standard clip art is below. Her drawing is pencil on paper right now.

Or, thinking of the Brethren logo, how about...

Snortin' Pig BBQ

I know... these have NOTHING to do with my earlier thoughts, but I like them... They are clear in the team name database. Anyone see them in comps?
