We are doing a job here at work that requires alot of shoreing. The shoreing that they are using is I-beams driven in to the ground with 4"x8" roughcut kiln dried white oak timbers between the I-beams. Each timber is cut to size leaving one to two foot of scrap and I can have it all. So far I have gotten 1 8' truck bed load and they are only half done all I got to do is split the peaces a little smaller. This will burn nicely in the Lang with a little apple or hickory added for flavor

Congrats on the score.
IIRC, white oak burns hot and not much flavor. Add some hickory or whatever to it.

That's the plan.
