What Mike said -- I think I'll be back on Jambo Row this year.

My favorite contest! Wishing I could go early enough to go to Alack's school.

We're heading that way as well Thursday, have only heard good things about this one. I'm hoping the Fri night dinner is heavily skewed toward crawfish, shrimp and the like!

I can hurt myself on Tommy's eggplant casserole. Food's all good. Don't miss eating at Tope La, Cates Street for Sushi, Charleys for po-boys, the Margarita place up the street and the burger spot accross the tracks. I've not found any bad food in Hammond. Make sure you have some room to take some Louisiana strawberries home and there's a nice seafood market (in business since the 1830s) just a couple of blocks from the cook site.

Where I go to all contests to cook, Hammond I go to eat!

Miss Candy your making me hungry. Can I come and be your box carrier? I will even pay for my own food, cause it seems like you know all the good places.

Cool! Looking forward to meeting y'all. I'll be getting there around lunch time Friday. This will be my first time cooking with my team at Hammond. I helped out a friends team in '09. It's gonna be a blast! Good luck!
