They range all over the place. I've paid as much as $15 for one with a drink and a couple thimbles full of potato salad and coleslaw, and as little as $4.25 for the same (except bigger thimbles). Typically, it's in the $6 range.

Y'all farkers got a license to steal is all I know.

If someone asks me to pay over 4.00 for just a sammy, I believe I would go to cussing, unless it had 1/2 lb or more of meat on it.

In the land of pulled pork it ranges from 2.50 - 3.50 for a sammy. Heck you can get a whole plate for 6.00

I can promise you I will NEVER pay 6.00 for any pulled pork sammy.
But if they can get it, more power to them.

Your area vending determines how much your return will be. Figure in your total cost, which also includes clean up, set up, supplies etc....but if you only got 3 or 4 dollars a sandwich you WILL not even make expenses for the weekend... 6 bucks has to the min...

It's all about what the market will bare and your ability to create a demand. We have customers that claim $6 is too high. So what, there will ALWAYS be cheap folks eveywhere. I use quality ingredients and most folks appreciate it as we generally sell $1500 worth of BBQ between 9 and 1 every day we vend. Our cheap competitors are out of "business".
