Looking to Learn - Kansas
I am wanting to help a team in competition(s) (preferably more than one contest). I have only participated in a couple backyard style competitions put on by a grocery store - sausage, ribs, and chicken. I have cooked with a Bandera for 4 years and have moved on to a 22" WSM which I love. I would be willing to help on any team in any contest this year in nearly any town/city in KS (and possibly MO).
In exchange for my help - anything from gopher/runner to pit B., I would like to learn any and all information you would be willing to share from pre-contest prep to timing to cooking methods. I understand every team has its own private methods and do not expect anyone to share those.
So, if you would like an extra hand in one or several contests in KS, please let me know. Thank you.
