Default prime rib on brinkman s&g

got a new smoke n grill for christmas. cuppla questions: should i season it (burn) before 1 st use? how? what's the down and dirty consensus on how to get a small 2 rib done on the unit? thanx, art

Yes, you need to clean, heat and season it. Not a big deal, you can cook after you have heated it, during seasoning. Follow instruction that came with unit.

A 2lb roast us small and will cook quickly, I would typically cook it at 275 for 45 mins or so, then sear it. Simple rub would be fine.
