Default smoking with pecan hulls

does any brother use pecan hulls to smoke with?we had a bumch cracked to put in freezer and i have a 5 gal bucket full of hulls.if anyone wants them send me your addy and i will send them to you.if not i will throw away.

My son smoked a couple of beer can chickens using pecan shells. Smoke smelled pretty dang good. (didn't get to taste the chicken)

I don't need any. Between the 2 of us we have 300 pounds. We bought it for $0.10 a pound.

I smoked with them for years when I lived in Texas. only problem with them is if there is any meat left in the hull then you will get an bitter taste on the skin for the oil. if you take the skin off like I do it is great
