Default Peach Wood for Smoking a Brisket

I just got a batch of peach wood from fruita wood chunks in Colorado. I'm doing a brisket for Christmas Eve and was thinking about using the peach wood with a little hickory. Has anyone used peach wood before on brisket? Any good?
Happy Holidays

Good question. I'm doing an 11.75# packer in the morning, and I've been trying to decide which wood I should use.

I know I didn't help you, but I'm glad you asked.

I have not used peach on beef.
But there is this guy named Myron Mixon who uses peach on everything.
He seems to do well in the comp world,

Try it an see.

I've used Peach on Brisket and find it to be really good. Fruit woods are my favorite. Mix some Cherry in with that Peach and you will find Smoking Nirvana!

I've used it on pork before but not on brisket, mainly because I would be dragged from my house and hung by my feet from a oak tree to prove a point. But Mixon wins with it I just think most fruit woods are for pork I do like apple sometimes with brisket though.

all the time. from fruitawoodchunks usually. if you mix it with hickory you might lose the peach since it is delicate. i use the peach on everything, and is very good

Try it, especially if you are smoking for a long time.
