Default Rotisserie Question

I bought an old Weber kettle a while back that had a rotisserie ring and some of the attachments. The motor is not in very good shape and some of the spit attachments are missing. Does anyone have any recomendations for a universal kit with just the motor, spit, and attachments? The ring is for a 22 1/2" kettle.

I agree with calling Weber. Whatever Motor you get, get a Heavy Duty one, it will work much better with heavier meats.

I was kind of hoping to find a decent universal, aftermaket. I know Lowes has some but I don't know if they are any good?

check here

or call weber
or check the motor out. could be loose wireing or the gears and shafts just need a bit of lube. mine did.

I have a chitload of rotisserie motors, an EZ-que with 40lb load, a few Webers, a couple D-cell battery operated ones that I use regularly. I've bought some Universal kits for the spit rods, and considering what I paid for them I'd use them with no reservations.

I'll recommend this site:

This is another alternative:

Cordless battery operated rotisserie motor. I have been using mine for more that a year on 2 D-sized batteries.

They also have several very strong corded models too.
