Default Question on Steel size for fatboy cart

So I have my new Fatboy, and I'd like to build a cart for it, similar to the one that Pitmaker uses with their safe:

I already have the majority of the steel angle that I need, but I need to buy a few feet of square tube. My question is, is the stuff at Home Depot/Lowes/etc strong enough to use in this kind of application? I was looking at the 1-1/4" square tube, with a wall thickness of 1/16". There's quite a big price jump from the 1/16" thick to the 1/8" or 3/16" so that's why I'm asking.

Thanks in advance!

Chad

3/16 if you can swing it. Do it right the first time and you never have to worry about it again. Those cookers aren't cheap. Don't risk it with thin metal.
