A Bit late but a simple mod for a lid if you do not wish to ruin your webber lid. Strangely enough with the drum lid adhereded to the Weber lid. It still fits the Webber grill. Worked pretty well and took me 20 min. to complete. Turkey and moinks came out great but forgot those pics

these are the cleanest pics I've found on the mod. Every drum is a different size, you have to wrap it around and mark where to cut. then fill in the seam with RTV. I also sealed the outside of the ring to the drum with RTV to block the air leaks.

I went to the metal shop and had them bend a 1/8th x 2" x 6.5' steel strip into a circle. the pics here are stainless i think

It's all about the smoke... Allen

That is a great easy mod. did not have the flat stock but willhave some to do this.
