Default Lamb Ribs?

I noticed some cryovac packs of "lamb breasts" in the local Walmart. The cryovac was white, so I couldn't see through the wrapper, but they appeared to be 2 small racks of lamb ribs. Any recipes or pointers on how to prepare these?

Leaner and smaller than pork ribs. I grill them with a chunk of wood instead of using the smoker.

What type of seasoning/rub? I guess you wouldn't be using any sauce on these??

Lemon Pepper Seasoning is good. Or just rub them in Garlic, EVOO and Rosemary. I always recommend celery salt too... comes up a treat.

Lamb ribs are best grilled indirect at about 350F, then given a fast reverse sear.

I have tried to smoike them before and the result hit the garbage bin. They were terrible.

Cheers!

Well, I opened up Raichlen's Ribs book to find that "lamb breasts" are also called Denver ribs, about 1-1.5lbs per rack. Looks like grilling is the way to go as it's more about the seasoning than any smokiness. Might have to use the gas grill for this one.
