Help Adding Additional Contest Categories
I am planning for the second year of my KCBS contest. I am trying to come up with reasonable times to add a couple of new categories.
We just did a competition with the standard 4 plus a people's choice. On Friday we have the cooks meeting at 5:00 pm with a reception at 6:00 pm, then a site decoration contest judging at 7:30 pm. On Saturyday we had breakfast at 7:00 am. Standard KCBS turn-ins from 12:00 pm - 1:30 pm. People's Choice at 2:30 pm. If I were to add desserts and kid's Q, what times should they be held in order to give the teams time to compete and enjoy the amenities? Should there be any limits on the amount of teams entering these categories? |
