Weather for American Royal

The weather looks good (highly unusual) for the American Royal. Don't be fooled. Pack for cold and wet just in case...

Thurs. 83/60
Fri. 80/61
Sat. 84/62
Sun. 83/59

Sunny/Partly Sunny all weekend

If this holds true it will be the best weather I have ever seen at the Royal.

Yes, please do not forget that you are travelling to Kansas and Misery. Two weeks ago we literally went from 100* to 50* in two days iirc. However, I have found that drinking more helps deal with any weather conditions. It does tend to lead to speedos however.

Yes - and especially this time of year - and in the spring - temperatures and conditions can change rapidly. So, actually, Arlin's list is not that far off. A person might need each of those at one point or another, especially if they arrive Wednesday night and don't leave until Monday. The chances are great that temps and conditions will swing around.

I just checked the long range forecast. The highs and lows have dropped about 10* per day from when Mista posted his original post.

After reading this - I am sure of one thing.

No matter what the weather, I will need the sunglasses to protect against visual
overload !

Speedo wearers in Minnesota risk the same fate as brass monkeys.
Plenty of parka's and mukluks up here though - we save those for when it is really
cold - not the beautiful fall weather.

This promises to be an interesting Royal. Can't wait.
