Agony and ecstasy of an imperfect first fatty, with PRON
Well -- thanks for the feedback and advice on an earlier, related thread. I did it, with mixed results. Next time, it'll be a Brethren-style fatty, not somebody else's meatloaf-like concoction.
 But it's going to crumble up into terrific chili. Rest of the story is here, and here's a picture of the finished thing:
