line the bottem with rocks burn a fire ....hot and long.........toss in a case of lettues and cabage leaves that u picked up at the store ...(when there going thur there old stuff )....place in hog as stated above ...add more "left over letus/cabage" ie;lots ....to the top- lay heavy card board then cover with dirt 1' or so.....in these parts u would at this time post a bear guard,so u would get some the next day :)

What are you gonna season with? I know we were messing around earlier but if you have time to order, try to get a few pounds of the oakridge game bird and chicken and/or the competition beef and pork and rock the heck out of that piggy.

My fave so far for pork and foul is the game bird and chicken and would highly recommend it to take that pig to a whole nutha level.

Gotta love the repurposed McCormick's rub containers. They got an upgrade with the good stuff.

hmmm ill look into that. im gonna be seasoning the pig friday, so i would have to order it today and HOPE it gets here by then!

there will be a load of pron from the pig roast.


i usually always try and take pron but ive been bad! :( i always forget! i usually take some before photos and then remember when the foods half eaten to take some afters... and no photos of the between processes!!! ahhH!! ill def remember this weekend!

Most orders arrive in 3 days, some in as short as 2. If you ordered before midnight tonight, your rub would arrive in NY by no later than Thursday.

Where can I find chicken wire fence that is not galvanized? All the ones at home depot r galvanized!

I would not worry about the galvanized wire as temps shouldn't be high enough to burn the galvanizing.

I admire your digging ability. with the tough clay we have, I'd of opted for a backhoe :)
