Default Help! Need to find great ribs in/near CT!

All season long I have been having a real hard time finding great spare ribs. Last contest I went to five different places only to find small racks with good marble and color, but not very meaty. RD had them frozen with freezer burn. Costco had crap. Local butchers had only baby backs. Whole foods had only baby backs. With Norwalk contest coming next weekend I am starting to freak. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
