Sled they are friends of mine ,they are a father /son team from Packwaukee Wi. Great people this was their third comp,last week they won ribs in Kenosha ,Wi. Starting to scare me.

Thanks Sled ! Takes a little sting out of the draw weekend anyways. Our friend and mentor Buzz from 2 Fat Bikers got the Wi draw so we will just start workin for next year.

Glad to see Coz back on top. And thank you Ron_L! That was quite a stunner. We thought brisket was our worst turn in, and that the pork was our best. Guess that shows what I know about competition BBQ.

Derek and I thank you very much Coz. We know we did something big when the WYC places ahead of you. We were sure our brisket streak was over after they got to 5th place and we hadn't gotten a call.

We had a blast at this comp. (Of course the "Rainmaker" was there.) Having the sleeping cabin was HUGE for us. A good night of sleep should not be underestimated. This was the most prepared we have ever been for a comp, and it shows in the results. Our highest ever brisket, rib, chicken and overall finishes. A great way for us to end our year.

Great to see Sir Smoke, Andy, Bill, PeteG, Jeff, Pimp, the Burnita boys, Billy and Big Daddy, the Freeman Brothers and their family, and all of our Brethren friends, and to hear so many of them get calls. Thanks to all for a great weekend with great people.
