Back from Danville.Great contest and location.Great hospitality.Fed us supper friday night and breakfast saturday morning.41 teams.Our first year doin' this contest.The contest is in a park with lots of grass and big shade trees. Perfect weather and we had a great time.No braggin' rights to talk about :D .Barely cracked the top 20 in two catergories(17th ribs and 19th brisket).That's the good news.Chicken was 29th and pork 31st.So if you want to know what "NOT TO DO" at a contest, I'm your man (did it all this weekend) :D .Finished 26th overall.
But seriously, we had a "GREAT" time(anytime you're cooking bbq with your family and friends).So look out! We'll be back in the swing of things in two weeks at Greater Hickory Smoke in Hickory,NC!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Glad you had good weather and had a good time! I was trying to send you an email this morning before church to see how you did and my PC froze........
